There are many freelance platforms, some are global and others are local. The biggest known platforms are Upwork.com, Guru.com, Fiverr.com, Freelancer.com, PeoplePerHours.com, Workchest.com, and so on.

All the platforms are traditional where a freelancer bid and get hired while Fiverr is nontraditional where freelancers offer their skills as services and get hired.
 

Who can freelance?


Anyone can do freelancing. After graduation from university, an individual is unemployed and seeking a job. However, for a dream job, from the comfort of home, Freelancing is preferred over others.

If you have or multiple digital skills then it is good you may get started. If you do not have any skills, you can learn online and offer services according to your niche. The skills that are among the top of freelance platforms are content writing, graphic designing, web development, etc.

Other top skills include software development, E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Quick Books, AutoCAD (cad-cam engineering), etc.
